After seeing many other "365 projects" - I finally decided to jump in and give it a try. By taking one self-portrait every day for 365 days, I'm forcing myself to get the photography practice I need and really expand my skills and creativity. I'm sure there will be bad days when I'm feeling very uninspired. But hopefully they are outnumbered by creative and imaginative days!
I'll TRY to upload my daily photo to this gallery each day. But sometimes - life gets busy, so I may get behind - but I will try to keep it as up-to-date as possible!

Day 1
I would love to have my first day self portrait actually show my face - but I wasn't really "feelin' it" tonight. Maybe on day 2. :)
In this photo, I'm literally finishing the set-up for this 365 gallery. Actually, this photo is a pretty good representation of how my family has gotten used to seeing me for the past year; hunched over my computer at my messy desk doing something wedding-related (prior to 10/4/08) or doing something photography-related (note to self: must work on improving posture).
So with this project, I'm hoping to peel myself away from my computer screen and get behind the camera...er...in front of it ;)
Wish me luck - it's going to be quite an interesting year!
